This kit consists of a Flicker Effects Control with 6 different dynamic flame flicker effects modes. The flicker control has 10 speed steps, slower speeds are possible for glowing coal and ember type lighting effects. The kit also includes the red silicone bi-pin LED lamp with 1.5 meter, 5 foot ref. (59”) Typ. length cable socket assembly, and an 8 AA cell battery holder to provide 12 volts DC. This unit is a professional LED red flicker light source used for building props and scenery. The lighting kit operates from 12 volts DC at about 1 watt of power. The cable socket assembly can be press fit into a 7/16” hole drilled into rigid foam, wood or other material. The taper of the socket body locks it into place, and the socket has a front flange to limit the insertion depth and provide a finished appearance. (Batteries not included), 8 AA cell batteries are needed for the battery holder. With new alkaline batteries the light can be expected to have more than 12 hours of operating time. This kit may also be operated from a 12 volt DC power supply of wall adapter. The DC barrel connector is center +V positive, and the kit only operates on DC voltage.
