- Cable Continuity Testing: The Ethernet cable tester can remotely detect each wire inside the cable, including special shielded cables (UTP/STP), with a maximum testing distance of 2000 meters. It can identify open circuits, short circuits, and incorrect wiring to ensure the integrity of network or telephone connections.
- POE Tester: The RJ45 cable tester is also highly efficient in identifying PoE devices. It can detect connection methods (Unknown/Endspan/Midspan/8-pin power) and polarity. Connect one end of the cable to the network switch and the other end to the RJ45 port on the master unit. If no faults are detected, the green LED indicator will light up in sequence.
