This placement means the spring and elastomer components absorb the initial shock before any vibration travels up the shaft and into your hands, wrists, and elbows, reducing peak impact force by up to 40 percent and protecting joints, muscles, and ligaments over long days on trail. Each DSS Tip includes the full DSS mechanism, a sharp carbide tip for reliable pole plants on rock, packed dirt, and mixed surfaces, and installation instructions so you can complete the swap at home. The tips are available in two shaft diameter sizes to ensure a proper fit.
