AD9851 50MHZ Function Signal Generator DDS Source SCM w/DDS Module

AD9851 is a highly integrated device, using advanced DDS technology, built-in a high-speed, high-performance digital-to-analog converter and comparator, together constitute a complete digital programmable frequency synthesizer and clock generator. The AD9851 produces spectrally pure frequency/phase programmable, analog output sine waves when referenced to a precision clock source. This sine wave can be used directly as a frequency source, or converted to a square wave suitable for agile clock generator applications. The innovative high-speed DDS core of the AD9851 provides a 32-bit frequency tuning word; for a 125 MHz reference clock input, the output tuning resolution can reach 0.0291 Hz. The circuit architecture of the AD9851 allows the generation of output frequencies up to half the reference clock frequency (or 62.5 MHz), and the output frequency can be changed digitally (asynchronously) at a rate of up to 23 million new frequencies per second. The device also provides five-bit digitally controlled phase modulation, enabling its output to be phase shifted in increments of 180°, 90°, 45°, 22.5°, 11.25°, and any combination thereof.
