Installation:IMPORTANT: The filter blocks come witha cap. Remove the cap before using thefilter and store it for later use. Replace thecap on the filter to prevent the filter fromdrying out during extended periods ofnon-use.1. Fil a clean container with clean waterand soak the replacement water filter inthe water for at least 30 minutes. Tilt thefilter, while under water, so that any airbubbles can escape from both ends.2. Remove the water filter from the water.Cover the holes with either your fingers orthe black caps that came with the filter,and shake the filter vigorously. Then tapthem lightly on the counter to loosen anyresidual manufacturing dust.3. Screw the new water filter onto theupper chamber.4. Return the upper chamber to thesystem by placing it onto the lowerchamber.5. Fil the upper chamber with water andlet it drain into the lower chamber. Whenthe lower chamber is full, discard the firstbatch of water as it may contain residualmanufacturing dust. The system is nowready for use.
